The FLARE Secretariat is excited to announce its new series: The FLARE Network Seminars. The goal of this series is to bring researchers, policymakers, and practitioners together to advance understanding and action around timely and globally important topics at the intersection of forests and livelihoods.
The first webinar, “Conservation legacies: New methods, evidence, and directions in conservation impact assessment”, will showcase recent research assessing the long-term impacts of conservation funding, with case studies from Bhutan, Madagascar, and Peru. The work was carried out by an interdisciplinary group of scholars led by FLARE Coordinator Daniel Miller and Jana Diesner from the Technical University of Munich, previously University of Illinois Urbana Champaign.
